So Today we had our programming class and I thought it went quite well in my opinion. What I followed is a simple 2D player side scroller tutorial which took most of the 4 hours to do, but I enjoyed it none the less. Here is some screenshots from it...

Semester 2 Blog Twelve
Progress Review.
So today in class we started off with our tutor to reassess and re-evaluate our work so far. Personally I believe I am slightly behind from where I would like to be, but I am still on track for the due date. So far I have successfully completed all of my written work, besides a little touch up on the Author (AKA Me) at the end of the pamphlet. I am currently still drawing my three posters and a simple backdrop for the background of the pamphlet.
So What have I specifically been doing recently?
Well I have been trying to improve my drawing skill and look of my book cover/posters. I have looked at several other YouTube video's for inspiration for my drawing, and I have been looking at different book covers suck as Game of Thrones, Percy Jackson and The Witcher book series.
One of the Ideas is a snowy scene that takes place in the prologue with a silver metallic border. Some of the youtube links to the videos I have seen are below.

Where did I get my inspiration for this.
I have always love Arthurian legends ever since I was a young kid, and that eventually mixed with one of my genre of Manga, high fantasy. When I was thinking of my creative writing in year 11 I thought about what I would enjoy writing, and the idea that Arthur had an heir 100 years later who would save the world. I had this idea since I was 15 so I wanted to re-create this now and finish a full book in the near future.
What do I want to accomplish
I want to try and set a step for me to try and get my book out into the world similar to how movies and trailers and books have online advertisements. I want to see if I can make people wonder and become intrigued with the new world that I have created. Using Trans-media I want to see how far I can go with my own will and capabilities before asking for help.
Semester 2 Blog Six
So yeah, its been a while since I last uploaded my blog page for this class, and I must say, I have changed alot in about 3 weeks. Currently I have changed my original plan to do pixel art, to do characters made in harmony instead. I chose this method as I thought it was easier to do and it looks cleaner finished. I will still need to make some improvements to Gallus, but that will be done in my next post. Anyways, here is the re-draw. So today was the usual. We just did work on our animations. I honestly wish i could have changes the style and look of it but I am just going to roll with this more cartooned look. So far I have 2 shots and I have a lot more so I might as well as just get it done.
Semester 2 Blog Eleven
So todays class, I honestly feel like doing nothing. At this point I would rather get straight onto 3D animation and design rather than 2D. But unfortunately I cant do that yet. What I created today was my first scene which Is the door open and camera zoom. I cant remember how to do the camera zoom so I just have the door open Gif, but at least I have something to show.
Semester 2 Blog Eleven
So today in class we ended up doing critiques for everyone, myself included. I was the first one to go, as mine could set the bar low for everyone else, which is kinda a nice. Following after everyone had finished all of our critiques and given feedback we went onto discord and filled out a form for our Think and Create projects. Afterwords we just worked on our projects and I did what I could. OI started doing some work on photoshop as a test drawing so I can improve my skill while watching a YouTube video.

Semester 2 Blog Six
So finally my proposal is sorted out. I have a re-submission due in a week and a half so I will need to pull out all the stops ASAP. I have had a meeting with my tutor and the HOD about it and I'm just glad I have the chance to pass. So I will be talking to my tutor about the requirements for the pioneer for what can I choose, because I do want to pass this. So today in class we are just talking to our tutor about how we are going on with our projects. So far, not too well for me, but I have some time in the Holidays so hopefully I can get a decent amount done, after the proposal is done of course. Thats all for this week, ciao
Semester 2 Blog Five
So at this point, I have not gotten any information back about my proposal, and whether I am staying in the course. Currently I am still waiting on an answer on whether I can do a re-submission for the proposal and also I will need to find out several outcomes if I do chooses another Pioneer, so overall I am just very confused. So today in class we were checking out several of the new-wave movements in film and cinema like the French New-Wave, the American New-Wave and the British New-Wave, and how they all bounced certain aspects from each-other to slowly progress into the films we have today.
Semester 2 Blog Four
So what has been happening, well, honestly I do not know. Currently I have two Ideas for my project as my proposal is still not cleared up yet. One is a short video game similar to something made from Bethesda, like a remake of Morrowind, or go off Tolkien and make a high fantasy book or sorts or a screenplay. The main thing is I need to see how much time I have to do all of this, because the longest would take is a video game, the second the book and the quickest and easiest is a screen play. Currently I have three weeks left for this term and about 5 for the next term, so I really need to find out what I need to do by then.

So today was pretty cool. We went over several things for the rigging process. We did a bunch of stuff to lip sync. Afterwards I re-made it as a hamster, which I found very funny
