 Semester 2 Blog Twelve

Drawing class is over and the year is coming to a close. Wow, that went way too fast for my liking. Time to do an evaluation of myself in this class for the year then., lets gooo.

What did I enjoy in the classes?
I enjoyed and like how the classes were planned. I also enjoyed the helpful attitude of my tutor, who is a legend, and liked how to guided us through the process smoothly.

What would I change if I could do it again?
I would one, make my comic so much simpler and make sense. Two I would try and keep a consistent style of the drawings and three, I would want to do a more grim intense theme next time. Speaking of time, I would try and do better time management. 

Overall I enjoyed the class very much, and I cant wait for next year.
Thank you very much Chris for dealing with me for 2020, and you have been such a great tutor, so keep doing what your doing because it works great.

So now I have done a cover for the comic, and an artist portrait. I honestly dont want to have to try and draw my face, so I will be just sticking with what I am good at, Oni Masks. These turned out better than I expected, and I am actually pleased by the face on the cover. Well its the end of the year, so yeah, one more blog to go I guess.

Well yikes, I have done page 7 and 8, but I now have been told I can only do multiples of 4, so I am going to have to cut out two pages, shimpt. So I am cutting out pages 8 and 9 and making page 10 number 8, so this fits into the page count. Now the drawings truly look terrible, but I am just going to have to live with that. Next year I am so doing a simpler comic, so I can just keep one style, I also need to work on my faces big time.

I have come to the conclusion that i can no way in heaven or hell draw faces. Pages 5 and 6 were not much better than the previous but yeah, its now getting to the point of it looking more like a children's book rather then an intense comic, but thats what I get for using bright colors.

Pages 3 and 4 done, whoooo. To be honest I feel like they are incredibly cringe and I don't like it in the slightest, but I cant do anything about it as I am running out of time. I dont know how, but the drawings are getting worse and I am just getting disappointed with myself at this point.

So drawing class is going alright, as thus far I have completed two pages. Page one and two I am complacent with, as I would have liked to have a better drawing skill and a specific style for this, but there isn't much I can do about this, lest hope it gets better later on in the comic.

Hello Yall Readers
Recent Update, handed in my draft for my comic Heir to the King (HTTK) yesterday and honestly, I am disappointed in myself. My thumbnails for my comic were not great, the vast majority of it was just plain old shit and I wish i did better, so that is why I'm goal is to improve as much as I can for the final assessment by starting early, and honestly this is a good lesson for all my classes. So today I decided to work on my first page, well a basic non-shaded one anyway. My new goal is to get all the pages for my comic done with a basic color and then do some more work with shading and design later on. This way I will have a completed comic sooner to make improvements, and If i dont have enough time to make a large number of improvements, at least I will have a completed story and images to look at which in the end I will end up being a bit more satisfied. I will also be changing a bunch of things from my thumbs like adding more images on. Then I may even expend the comic by a page or two, who knows. My main reason for this decision is so I can fully put the story I am trying to tell onto paper, so I want to make sure that it is all there and is explained well.

So today in class was quite good, although I arrived an hour late. The basic stuff that we did was prepare for our assessment that is due on friday, and I managed to get some more cover designs done that I am super proud of. For the assessment I need to have my Thumbnails for my comic, my script and my cover. I am pretty much done the thumbnails, and I need to re-write my script but I have the cover, or a basic Idea of it done aswell. Thats all for this week and lest hope I'm still here next week.

Today was quite good. Recently I haven't been so great so this class was quite nice to just chill out and not worry about too much. We were told about our proposal due in 2 weeks so I need to get onto that after the next 2 things. We also got given a template for the front cover for our Comics which will be quite cool and fun.

Well, I showed up late, fun. Well its was only the first time I was late, this semester. Today we wrote our stories for our comics, which was fun. We then went onto character design. I have nothing to show for today, As i got triggered at my drawing and deleted it out of triggeredness. Anywho, thats all for this week. Adios.

Today for our coolio comic drawing class, we are going to do some techniques of some comics and see how they are done. We then looked at the layout, style and text in these comics and manga which was cool. After we just practiced drawing, and I got my first image of Arte (Protagonist) done, so Im wrapped.

Today was quite fun for our first drawing lesson for this semester. We went over what we are creating which is a comic or similar type thing. I already have my idea which I will do in another post, but what I want to do is similar to a style of a Manhwa called The Beginning After The End, and I really love the art style, and it will be a mish, but this is what I did today as a test below. After we went to the library near the campus and looked at manga and comics to get a basic idea of what we have to do. For the assessment it has to be 8 pages long, but I can extend it to 12 if I want but we shall see when it comes down to it.
